I joined PFit as a runner in 2004 to train faster. I'd run PDX marathon 3 times prior training on my own. I was trying to get a faster, healthier. Running with people was fucking awesome compared to "dark ages" of running solo. In 2005 I became a coach of Green group. I didn't feel qualified but my approach in helping others and taking it seriously actually became rewarding in ways I hadn't imagined. I've been coaching since. As a runner I enjoy surprising myself. My first marathon was 2000 Portland marathon. 2018 goals to find balance in life, running, and fatherhood.
